Connecting the AHL-8 to your radio
1) Connect the left (+) speaker wire of your stereo to the white wire of the AHL-8 Connect the left (-) speaker wire to the white/back wire of the AHL-8 Connect the right (+) speaker wire to the gray wire of the AHL-8 Connect the right (-) speaker. wire to the gray wire of the AHL-8 (See Illustration A)
2) Connect the black w ire of the AHL-8 to vehicle chassis ground.
(Using the same ground location the stereo uses is recommended.) 3) Connect the red wire Of the AHL-8 to 12V switched ignition, (the wire that has power only when the key is in the "On" position.) 4) Connect the RCA output jacks of the AHL-8 to the RCA inputs of your amplifier/EQ booster. Red Right, White = Left.
5) Check all connection and test the sound system.
Note: If a high pitched squeal is apparent while playing the stereo after the AHL-8 has been installed, connected the brown wire to the background wire of the AHL-8
